Anxious dreams= bad sleep

I didn’t sleep very well last night. I was having horribly violent, bloody anxiety-filled dreams. Thanks subconscious, I really didn’t appreciate the stampedes, massacres, gunshots, and explosions. Anyway, OB appt and bloodwork today, including the initial glucose test. Really really not looking forward to it. I better not fail because I don’t know if I can handle the consequences, which would be having to take the 3 hour test. And I can’t even fathom what I would do if I did indeed end up having GD.

  1. sorry for your awful dreams… just what you need anxiety while SLEEPING. sheesh! good luck with the blood work. betcha you will come out just fine!

  2. Good luck – here’s crossing my fingers for you!

  3. Good luck on the test! I hope you pass and don’t have to worry about the rest.

  4. I seem to remember vivid anxious dreams in the third trimester. All part of the fun I expect.

  5. I had horrid, anxious, nightmare type dreams last night too and I have felt like a zombie all day today. But…what I really wanted to say was good luck on the glucose test. I’m sure you’ll pass. This is the last OB appointment right? On to the birth center midwives?

  6. Ugh. Sorry you had a rough night. May your dreams tonight be blissful. Good luck at your appointment, I am sure everything will be just peachy.

  7. Try not to worry too much about the GD test. I didn’t think the orange stuff was as bad as everyone said it would be and they only prick your finger on the one hour test. No needles.

    Good luck!
